Not sure if this meaning of store is the same meaning of a physical store but hey, it looks like we have some hope now!

Apple may open a physical outlet in MY soon

Wow, that'll be nice. Really hope it happens.

So far, I'm quite happy with Apple Online Store.

So I ordered MacBook Air M1 from apple store Malaysia. Courier service is DHL and after I did the tracking, seems it is stuck at Subang Airport. So I called DHL to know how long it will usually take for clearance and the customer services said that I need to apply for import license/sirim for the clearance. Huh? Why on earth I have to do that? I bought it from official apple store Malaysia and I was not aware that I have to do this on my own. If I didn’t call to check with DHL, I would never know.

Is this true? Anyone experienced this before?

Better call Apple and check and see.
Usually for DHL, they can do it for you, but they always charge crazy fees.

So meaning I still have to pay extra on top of what I’ve already paid for MBA? Sounds ridiculous

been there, done that, not need to pay a separate tax or authority approval. Checkout price is final price I paid.
