Unlikely to happen . Large-scale MMO tend to not limit players from most countries except from China .
Especially when FF14 is aiming to be like the next wow .

Not to mention there were people already purchased the game before it shut down , if they get banned now SE would have to refund to all of them .

[EU] Regarding Server Congestion (Feb. 26)

Currently, the game is experiencing a slowdown as a result of congestion in certain servers since the start of the beta test. We are investigating the issue by checking server logs and have also implemented a mechanism on specific servers to perform a more in-depth investigation.

No operation on the player side is required for this investigation. We will review testers’ play logs and continue our investigation.

hmm after playing tera , i feel kinda boring the combat lol spam button only..the fate system is just like gw2 dynamic events..which spoiled the game..people will just keep camping fate to level up and avoid doing quests...

i say they did a real bad job at giving out 2 many beta key.
n still solving the problem from last beta.

I do not think they invited too many . A mmorpg of this scale should easily invite a few hundred thousands without problems.

Its like I said , these are more than just servers problem. Their network coding has got problematic as well . They maybe figuring out ways to deal with their network coding right now .
