Actually the problem is pretty big ><.. even if let's say a local retailer is able to get their hands on some.. the prices gonna be pretty high since it's hard to get as well as being limited in stock

when all else fail, i'll go for Digital.

yea. if the game succeed, the price will more stay pricey as hell.

if we get the digital collectors edition, we will be getting:

- Cait Sith Doll Minion
- Mog Cap
- Helm of Light
- Coeurl Mount
- Behemoth Barding
- Baby Behemoth Minion


Errr first of all won't Baby Behemoth and Cait Sith Doll clash? Coerul Mount is a mount or a barding ? if it is , wont it clash with Behemoth Barding? if its not , is Coeurl faster then Chocobo or something ?

Yes they would clash. Couerl is a mount and the behemoth is a barding. I doubt SE would make couerl any faster than the chocobo. Just for aesthetics i guess.

What you mean clash actually? lol.. is just minion pet that flw u around. Coeurl Mount is just that Mount, the Barding is the aesthetic costume for Chocobo. All mount speed are the same.

You will receive the pre-order items, but the registration code for the Windows collector's edition cannot be used with a pre-existing Windows service account. To receive the in game items for the collector's edition, please use the digital upgrade.

Legacy status accounts are still treated the same as standard edition accounts in FFXIV:ARR, so If you have no interest in the physical items that come with the collector's edition, and have no intentions of playing on the PS3, using the digital upgrade will allow you to receive the collector's edition items with your current account.

A Square Enix account can hold up to 8 separate service accounts, but it should be noted that the pre-order bonuses can only be tied to a single service account, not to the entire Square Enix account.

If you purchase the collector's edition and register a new service account, your legacy account will not receive the collector's edition bonuses.

The collector's edition bonus items are included in the product code, so any registration of the product code to a specific service account would include all the bonus items solely to that service account. Pre-order bonus item codes however are separate and can be registered to any service account.

To simplify, if you own existing ffxiv 1.0 and wish to use CE box with your account, you need to buy PS3 versions and not PC versions! If you do not want the box items, and want in game items, just upgrade your copy to CE version later on.

Well to put it blunt, the game isn't doing any innovative thing. maybe a little. but is a working game. FF style. if you feel so-so on it. is just you that is burnt out.

What i mean by clash is that, the pre-order gives us cait sith doll and the CE gives use mini behemoth pet. I dont know how many pets you can summon but if its only 1 then either one will go to waste. Secondly the helms, have to choose between wearing mog cap or helm of light. Lastly, the mounts. Since you guys mentioned Coeurl mount is an actual mount, they are also giving us a behemoth barding for the chocobo... so whats the point of having 2 separate mounts?

Do any MMORPG that has pet allow u to summon out more than 1? o_O i never heard of lol.. Pet is just that Pets. being there to be cute and snuff. Is up to you since those items are purely cosmetics. Chocobo in later will be able to fight side by side with you.

If i understand what you mean by chocobo fight side by side, meaning i can have my chocobo with behemoth barding fighting beside me and when i wanna mount i get on Coeurl? At least thats interesting

I think the personal chochobo which fights alongside you uses different bardiing as it can have tank or healer roles then the one you ride.

Well then pop it out according to your moot. Is not exactly a waste. There is no speed difference in mount, is purely out of cosmetic. back in 1.0 we have Goobbue Mount. and yes, later in patches there will be a Buddy system. The only known Buddy system that can fight along side you is Chocobo and Magitek Armour Mount.

the Barding are purely cosmestic.

FFXIV:ARR includes 30 free days of playtime with purchase for new accounts. However, even though players who own FFXIV Version 1.0 will receive FFXIV:ARR for free, this does not include the 30 free days of play.
