Hello, and welcome to Final Fantasy XIV A Realm Reborn,

Unfortunately the game is still in Closed Beta phases, so the game is not available yet, although you may try your luck in getting a Beta Key here.

As the game has not been launch yet, we do not know how much it will be. Although there is a pricing for the monthly subscription which you can check it here.

For now i can only guide you to registering for the Beta key, and hope to get one.

If by chance you didnt get it at all until the end of Phase 3(we're in phase 1, phase 2 should be starting next week or later week) Phase 4 will allow everyone to play as it is Open Beta, so we can try and play in PC and PS3.

Yea, but i never played FFXI, no credit card lol. heard is a very hardcore/timesink game, but now it change a lot. Still wont play it because the UI is very different and console base..

Sometimes being good does limit on how differently you follow the path behind the others have carved on .
The original FF14 tried to be all new and different and have failed miserably . There are some innovative mmo around but these games are mostly not doing well because majority of the crowd is unwilling to accept changes.

If you are looking for a breath of fresh air , FF14 isn't your type of game .

I know the FFXIV 1.0 is a copy-&-pasted China made of a mess, and I wouldn't touch it with a 10 foot pole.
I especially lol'ed at the 馬鳥.

I'm interested in the single toon, with multi-class (sp?) abilities. I'm tired of alting in an already casual MMO, thus I'm going for an even more casual MMO, presumably it allows me to.

With the on-going CB, then up-coming OB, I might as well take this chance to see it with my own eyes before I throw my money at the game.

Hmm i wish to post something about the game direction, but maybe i should just summarize,

One first, let this joke slide, there is no "toon" but characters haha, i can't called my FF avatar toon, it doesnt look cartoonish enough like WoW to be called Toon, dont worry about it thou im not offended xD

Yes, FFXIV ARR will be catered to Casual Players in a sense of leveling and low level dungeons, there will be hard challenging dungeon for the Hardcore Players that i have tried during the FFXIV's almost ending where is really fun to play at, so i believe that the challenge i partook in 1.0 will be available in FFXIV:ARR on a high level of course.(this is a hint that is a confirm thou).

One of the perks FFXIV has is the single character that is able to play all classes on the whim by just changing weapons. They also offer specialize roles (The holy trinity roles) that are called Jobs, once obtain ofcourse you will loose the cross class abilities but will be compensate with the Job's specialize abilities.

Interested to a new adventure after RO2, is FFXIV a ftp mmorpg? Theres region specific server around? If there is, which server u guys playing in? TQ in advance.

Is not region specific server either, but they do offer region worlds to join in. And no we have no idea yet where will we go as the information is not release yet.

Monthly payment system like wow? Or game purchase payment like GW2? So the game is under construction status?

p2p like WoW. The game is in Closed Beta right now. We're near ending of Phase 1 also.
