i think gw2 done a good job with their dynamic event and personal story, no typical kill 10 rats watsoever.
mayb ff14 need do main storyline(instance), put fate event between main storyline destination. the current mob killing quest put in guildleve. do hunting log if u want grinding mobs for xp(do like karfa challenge in RO). No mob tagging for ppl help each other while questing. thts all wat can i think now

sure it got better story, but for the side quest to kill this n that etc... i tried to read the quest txt for several lvl... after tht it look like play wow, yada yada *skip* *skip* "ok kill 5 X" 
n i think main story quest need voice!! XD

It's kinda so easy to get lost in the questline since there no "available quests" list around. I got to around 12 or 13 and the main quest just cut off nothing to do, until I jumping all over the place and finally found the quest to continue... And on 16 now also cut off have no idea where to go (or is it just not available in beta?)

The task thing, forgot what it called, only limited to 3 and need to wait 8 hours+- to reset >.> too little...

Just when I got familiar with the newbie town, I got sent off to a whole new place >.> rusa masuk metropolis >.>

Though, one part I dislike is.... the armor designs    they are really bland 
Slash through all the easy/hard/really hard quests with Lv1 newbie cloth which looks 1000x better...
