hi,

how's everyone's piggies doing? Henry says hi from Vietnam :3 just sharing some new pics - Henry recently got me started with balcony gardening. All greens were used to feed him biggrin.gif

The official sponsor of fertilizer for the garden. brows.gif He was a little too generous that I had no choice but to dispose some of his "contribution". shakehead.gif

Mekong cucumbers grew really fast, but vanished very fast once I started feeding him, haha.

Fresh lettuce from the garden. These days he flops like a fish when he hears me opening the door to the balcony - he knows I'll be back with food every time biggrin.gif

hi,

GPs tend to be very timid animals, in forming bond and trust with them, try not to scare them (ie chasing after them or backing them into a corner in order to pet them lol), but instead, coax them to come to you instead! Here's what I did to form a bond with my guinea pig - find a food that he LOVES (he goes crazy over cherry tomatoes), call his name from the side of the cage (make sure he can smell the food), wait for him to come over to you and then feed him.

Over time, when he starts taking food from me, I gradually start stroking him with my other hand as he nibbles on the food from me (I will keep holding the food as he nibbles instead of tossing it onto the floor).

After more time, I get him to sit on my lap and spend more time with him (petting, feeding). And then trust is formed! The end result: tongue.gif
