hello i'm new here. just got my gp 2 weeks ago she's an adopted gp and is around 8 months old now. can i start to carry her now? she will run away very fast whenever i try to touch her and also can i give my pig corn flakes as snacks? i googled and says it's okay to give them cornflakes, just plain cornflakes. my pig also doesn't like to eat vegetable stalks, they just like the leafy part. how to solve this ahhh? and uh I just found out it is unusual for an adult gp to have milky color urine. I think it's because of the pallets because I'm giving her Hagen ones. Any other brands of pallets to introduce? I know oxbow is good but I wish to get a more affordable one as the second choice.
Thankssssssssss

QUOTE(shermainelahh @ Mar 5 2015, 05:33 PM) Hi, has anyone fed their GP Genesis extruded food pellet before? currently feeding mine Oxbow Cavy Performance (Cause he's only about 5 months) but am thinking of switching to Genesis but there aren't many reviews about it online. Was wondering if anyone has tried Genesis? Your comments are much appreciated. Also, my GP has a fungus infection on his foot, any recommended cream for it and where to get it? Also, what's the cause that he got a fungus infection? Few others told me to get fungal cream or aloe vera oil but i have no idea where to get them. Thanks. i asked the same ques at another forum. the members there said the calcium in genesis is too high and better stick back to oxbow.

QUOTE(carmenyta @ Mar 18 2015, 09:13 PM) is it? so if eat too much what happens? will fall sick? I think Genesis is good. the fur really becomes smooth and silky. my other frens also gave genesis to their piggies. so for me, i think is ok. but once in a while i do change to other ciplak brand cuz dun wan them become picky later. what i noticed from my pig for having too much calcium is the urine is in a milky color, slowly will cause bladder stone. that time i gave her cheap pallets then her urine straight away turn milky so i stopped. do you face this kind of problem while giving her genesis? if not then i am thinking of changing to genesis too because i noticed genesis products always got promotion and the greeny pallets look so nice.

QUOTE(carmenyta @ Mar 18 2015, 11:56 PM) oh milky white? umm, so far my ones dun have, oledi more than one year old from young feed genesis. their urines are clear. sometimes let them run around while clean cage so will suddenly step on their urine but since it's clear u dunno it was there. yalo genesis always got promotion tho expensive but my piggies will clear their bowl, never leave one biji also. if i change to ciplak one they will keep complaining for better food and then leave it in the bowl. so wasteful. yay! can have second choice for my pig oledi. luckily for my pig even i give ciplak brand she also finish but for veggies she is picky, only likes romaine and kangkung.

I bought it from pet lovers centre. Petsmore also got. Try to google image "oxbow cavy cuisine". The packaging is red in color. The price I survey before Plc is the cheapest with member price. Hahaha
