QUOTE(Chubbyagel @ Jul 5 2012, 09:50 AM) Woody pellet....sorry i keep thinking of wood shaving...LOL...blurnya I. Can someone pls show me how the woody pellet look like and how much issit? I just bought my paper based bedding 3 packs cost RM94...that one I think can last for 3 months lo....I clean my cage every week....lazy owner... it is in light brown (wood color) and looks same as the pellet that feed ur babies. just it is made from wood, and yeah it is safe to be chewed. this is what the pet shop owner told me there are 2 types of wood pellet: 1st type = absorb liquid and expand, then just scoop it and throw away 2nd type = absorb liquid and become powder, then just scoop it and throw away (correct me if wrong) This post has been edited by GP mad man: Jul 5 2012, 10:14 AM |

QUOTE(TobbyChan @ Jul 5 2012, 10:41 AM) Here you go.. haha, thx for the clarification http://www.woodypet.com/horse.html It is actually for horses. but many people use it for small animal too because it is made from 100% Biodegradable Sterile Wood Fiber But I only use it in the toilet area ya. not the whole cage. My other area covered with fleece I buy mine at PLC, one small bag is rm18. one whole BIG packet is...not sure this evening after work will go buy them oxbow so will check around. woody pet pellet is the 2nd type I never try wood pellet that expend before but I did try paper bedding. they do expend and control the smell. QUOTE(Jaroque @ Jul 5 2012, 11:38 AM) woody pellet wow, will try her after thisHere you go...this seller slls 1kg rm5..... haha check it out... i bought mine from her, recommended =) |

QUOTE(Huey_nee @ Jul 27 2012, 11:37 AM) Too bad, they don't know. That pink thingy was initially their 'toilet' (modified lil bit), but both of them don't seem to understand the purpose of it, so I abandon that idea and lay some cloth on it for them to sleep. i need to clarify, it will not able fully trained.good job! I gave up toilet training them after almost 7 months owning them, so now it's a daily duty/routine to clean their poo (luckily it's easy to clean) sometime. my piggies still will poo/pee from upstair... splash out of the cage... QUOTE(mima @ Aug 31 2012, 03:45 AM) maybe they dont like the taste of bayam. piggies are like humans when it comes to yum2. maybe you can try giving tomato, capsicum, carrot, broccoli etc.. tomato, carrot, and cucumber tried but never touch after smell for awhile.my piggies love capsicum and tomatoes! now i just gv back them cabbage most time QUOTE(yueyi5730 @ Aug 31 2012, 08:23 AM) my rabbit dun lik bayam as well.. after 2 years she learn to eat bayam from watching guinea pigs.. try with baby bayam and see if the lik it rabbit learned from GPs? sound funny QUOTE(Jaroque @ Sep 1 2012, 01:06 PM) its like this de if u give new veggies...same goes to me for cabbage. I give them first 3 days,...ignored...den i slowly mix in veggies, romaine lettuce and cabbage..all chop together....den when they eat my lettuce, they will eat the cabbage also...den slowly used to cabbage then ok liao. maybe bayam taste worst then kangkung So u can try chop bayam and add with ur normal veggie..chopped together, then they slowly eat then ok lah tu =D kangkung 1st time put in terus sapu like boss bayam, smell then walk away 2nd day still same, and the bayam start to turn yellow so, their owner (me) have to make soup and finish whole bunch |
