Can guinea pigs live with dogs peacefully? How about with cats? Or are they like nemesis to each other?

I find myself falling in love with guinea pigs and hoping to get some... But i know for now i dont have the space n money for them... >< only can quench my desire by looking at guinea pig pictures here and on facebook fanpages...
I especially like the tri-coloured short hair n silkie types... When i can afford them, gonna get them in females... Hahaha
