I am quite sceptical about the free range eggs that are supplied by suppliers here. If you see smallish white eggs, that could probably be it but many coffee shops are supplied with two type of eggs. Both are the same sized. The really free range chicken eggs that I have encountered are all small in size. One is normal and another the so called 'telor ayam kampong' or free range chicken's eggs. As opposed to normal eggs which are brownish cream coloured, the other is all white. I suspect that they now separate the eggs in the farms and market white coloured eggs as 'telor ayam kampong'. The eggs as seen in many farms are multi coloured and I think the farms are making a fast buck out of the white coloured eggs. They scam the coffeeshops and the coffeeshops thinking they are sells it at a higher priced to the consumers for their breakfast.
It's just my opinion but it could be. I am not convinced that there are so many free range chicken eggs on the market.
