13 is not an unlucky number. 1 is the best number, together with 3, 5, and 7 (the others are neutral).
1 is lucky, so is 3. Added together they bring us to 4, which is the basis of the the square and the cube as well as the pyramid, signifying stability.

The only reason why 13 became regarded as unlucky is because there were 13 people at the last supper, including Jesus. Now how anybody (particularly nominal Christians) can regard the death of Jesus is unlucky, is beyond me.

I like certain numbers on a digital clock: 11:11 is my favourite, then 13:33 (adds up to 10, that is, 1). Also 12:34, and some others.

If 13 worries you, challenge it a little. What we regard as bad luck, like a flat tyre, often turns out to be the best thing, such as meeting a lovely person and making a friend for life.
