Just got spectrix d41 3200 ram 8gb x 2

But stock its running at 2666mhz

Whenever i bump the speed up to 3200mhz at 1.35V , it crashes my windows and pc restarts and ram defaults back to 2666mhz

On asrock b450m steel legend mobo with ryzen 5 3600

How to overcome this issue?

Now on 16GB ram . Running flight simulator 2020 at high settings getting around 40-50fps. But got microstutters

Wondering if upgrade to 32GB will solve the issue?

Current ram is dual channel 3200mhz

Possible, but do note that FS2020 is very punishing on the CPU (even a heavily overclocked 10900K can't run this smoothly) icon_idea.gif

The game seems to have an issue pertaining to CPU utilization, due to the old DX11 API used sweat.gif

But in task manager, cpu utilization is only 20%. Ryzen 5 3600

GPU utilization at 99%

Just wondering if increase ram will help reduce the stutters.

Overall, the game is very playable now. Just since ram prices have dropped alot so might be tempted to upgrade.lol

Just want to check, i see sellers selling 8GB sticks and 16GB(8GB x 2)

May i know whats the difference?

If i buy two 8GB sticks, it will be able to run dual channel as well right?
