RAM's brand doesnt makes any diffrence, only the chip in the RAM does effect its overclockability

QUOTE(The Wonder @ Dec 13 2007, 07:39 PM) Just upgraded my rig last Tuesday. Need to check with you guys if I had bought the right stuff. Sumthing is wrong there....perhaps u could try flash to newest motherboard biosMemory wanted was 1GB 800Mhz DDR2 ram. So I bought this : » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « My CPU is Intel CD E2146 (1.66 @ 800 FSB). But my BIOS somehow showing the ram can only be set to max 667 Mhz. Could it be my mobo setting? I'm running on Asus P5B-MX/WiFi-AP. |
