QUOTE(hafiez @ Jun 19 2008, 09:09 PM) simple, this is what i do. 1. identify the motherboard capability 1st. are they support DDR1 or DDR2. 2. If DDR1, i buy DDR1 type of RAM. no matter what speed they running. High speed ram, will always obey to low speed motherboard. what i meant is, if ur mobo can only go for 333MHz, and u bought 400MHz RAM, the RAM will only run @333MHz. 3. Vice Versa. Anyway, this is what i simply understand about the concept according to my experiance. Thanks for the explaination. Really appreciate it. One more question, and it will be the last. How come DDR1 RAM is more expensive than DDR2 RAM? I mean if compare the performance, sure DDR2 owns DDR1 rite? But how come still DDR1 are sold in higher price?
