I have an old PC with a P3v133 motherboard, with 128MB of SDRAM on it. The 128MB comprises 2 sticks of 64MB. Can I buy a 256MB stick and plug it into the third slot giving me total 384MB, or do all sticks have to be identical (in which case I'd have to replace the RAM rather than add)? I want to install XUbuntu on it but 128MB Ram isn't sufficient.

If I wanted to go to the shops in LowYat to buy the SDRAM, what specs do I need to give? The manual says 256MB ASUS 168-pin PC133 2-bank ECC SDRAM DIMM (p/n ASUS-XAL256), but I'm not sure I can remember all that. Can I just say 168-pin SDRAM? Thanks!
