I managed to download the firmware via WiFi, however it failed the installation. Suspect due to my phone already rooted.

Need Sifu to advice what to do to solve this.

- download the firmware from Sammobile.
- extract the files to  .tar.md5
- put the .tar.md5 into your phone
- open MobileOdin Pro.
- press Open files...
- put the  .tar.md5 files
- enable/tick all three in Everroot section (enable by default)
- flash firmware

Many thanks for the guide. notworthy.gif

Do we need to reset the flash counter using triangle away when the above guide?

If you flash using MobileOdin the binary counter NOT increase.
The same with Odin as flashing OFFICIAL stock firmware won't increase the binary counter.

I understand the binary counter would not change AFTER the flash.

Sorry my question might be misleading. blush.gif

Actually i am checking, my current S3 binary counter is 1 since i have rooted it. Do I need to reset it using triangle away BEFORE flashing using Mobile Odin.

Icic..if the binary already 1 then had to use Triangle Away since MobileOdin won't reset the counter back to zero  :-)
You can use Triangle Away before or after flashing. It doesn't matter since you're using MobileOdin.

Hmm.. you are right can reset the binary counter after the flash. thumbup.gif

Flashed successfuly latest firmware with mobile odin pro.

Only problem I kept receiving notification to install the upgrade as l have a failed attempt of installation due to root.
How to solve this or do it need to factory reset to solve this?

What notification did you receive.? Upgrade installation.!?
I thought you already success flash latest firmware via MobileOdin
*
I have one attempt before this flash using Mobile Odin.

This earlier upgrade pack already downloaded in my phone and failed the installation because of rooting. That's why have to flash using Mobile Odin. But the notification of upgrade still hunt me asking me to upgrade. Do know why rclxub.gif
