i tested my sim with my other phone now, its working. so confirmed not sim problem

I think it's due to your SIM CARD. My sim card got stuck in the phone when I got it cut with DIGI, dun worry. biggrin.gif

To your earlier query, you can always reinstall the CWM manager app by kust installing the apk - download it from Chainfire site : CWMManager-SGS3-v3.60.apk

Hi Uncle, went through the procedure and find that this rooting method includes the CMW (From my readings this is very important for Backup before installing any Rom's). Am I correct as planning to go down this road.

By the way which ROM is nice to use at the moment? Sorry to ask as 1st time Android user not sure to go which way..... blush.gif

Hi there try smooth talking to the Samsung guys/gals and they can even help to put it under other warranty claim. My phone has a small scrath at the bottom from the 1st day and Digi showed their fingger towards Samsung. The guys & gals there were willing to replace the whole screen with bezzel under some other claims but skipped it as dun wanna rape a phone that's running fine. smile.gif
