if u r not concerned about sound quality and the current one satisfies you, furthermore you have only stock earphones, then Voodoo wont make any difference for u.

really need to try out yr earphones since u claim it so good..

i think there are some like u.. but many are attracted to the Wolfson DAC equipped in the phone as well

personally i tested the stock ear phones given, not that bad, but for ppl like me who is used to better earphones, the difference is very obvious.

stock player is good but might not be powerful enough to drive some headphones, better to couple with an amp. I like the stock player cz it plays all the formats that I have.

Using PowerAmp gives more option to tweak the treble and bass, as well as EQ, but i always left the EQ flat. It is able to drive my headphones better. Only downside is, the PowerAmp is not able to play .wma lossless formats, needs conversion to other format.

oh ya, another feature i like about stock music player is the music square.. really nice.. i choose clam and then i listen music until i fall asleep.. really calm~ another one will be the ability to share the songs via DLNA.

one thing the stock player lack is the lock screen. other players are able to show the playlist or songs in the lock screen but not this stock player. or maybe i missed it..

if u r picky about sound quality, then yes, not good enough.

it may sound the same for average users, but for us, once u play high quality audio, u will hear all the sound fall apart esp the low bass and high key..

on the process of burning in my stock earphones and see how much it can improve. never bothered to use it since bought, now only buka plastic cuba..

it works well of course, for average users. try listen carefully, or compare to a better earphones. When u have a comparison, then u will know the difference.

do consider audio technica if u have extra budget

i only hav Fiio E6 currently, AT SJ55 and CKM55. no match for yrs..

only used it with other phones/mp3 players last time. now with S3, all the other players ady keep in drawer along with fiio.. hehe..
