i was actually planning to remove tht casing and switch back to my rock casing

I removed it long time ago. I knew how hard it was to remove the casing. Perhaps when you tried hard, something in the phone has been cut off by the force?
Anyway hope you'd fine a solution man.
I tried my MicroSDHC just now, also couldnt detect. Nvm i'll buy one SDXC later, if kenot, Baseus caused it? vmad.gif

the sim is those push and lock type. when u push again, it pops out again. same for the microsd slot.

Ya it was too fit. Too fit is one thing, it's hard as well making it a real pain in the ass when it comes to removing it. sweat.gif

just use the CWM Manager. Choose backup. Since you have spacious SD, it would backup the whole thing. Ive just done it, without the apps, it takes around 2GB. No SD so therefore I dont backup my apps.

flash the latest v6.3. It will include the latest SuperSU, and CWM manager as well. CWM Manager is indeed a great utility for me. Now no need to hold down those buttons to go into download mode or what, just click and voila. tongue.gif

or maybe you could try this. usually when my old phone couldnt detect the sim, i took an rubber eraser and rub it hard on the gold surface then normally it would back to normal. This if it's the sim that causes the prob.

sadly no. not for now. to be honest kinda worried that the slot is somehow faulty. fingers crossed that it aint. cry.gif or maybe S3 does not want the microSDHC one, she wants the XC type? unsure.gif

hopefully. i'll try again later. sorry if this is stupid. usually when u slot in the SD, the S3 straight away detects it? i checked it out in the Storage option, the Mount SD option was always greyed out. sad.gif
