Now I can't pass over 9k anymore, I notice it seems lots of widget and apps, the benchmark will drop. Don't care already, as long phone smooth. I think more important is Samsung optimize the UI better, as certain part still lagging. The most obvious is pinch to zoom at widget app drawer, also Speed dial setting at Phone.

Don't use Google Chrome, can reduce 99% of re-draw.

You try restart your phone, and don't ever open the Google Chrome.. then you will notice they is no auto re-draw issue.

I am abandom Google Chrome now due to it keep re-draw my home screen, now I using Dolphin new Beta.

It won't work, after you update stock firmware, root is gone, kernel is back to stock, deoxeded is gone as well.

So, need to re-root, re-install siyahkernel before you can use back the extweaks as extweaks is mainly for siyahkernel only.

If you are using deoxeded rom before and apply themes, now the themes also not working, because stock rom is oxeded, non-root and default kernel.

If you want the root remain, use mobile odin pro as mobile odin pro support stay root.

3 way of updates your ROM

• Via Kies - after update, no more root, no more custom kernel, no more deoxeded ROM, No Binary count increase.
• Via Desktop Odin - ROM get at http://www.sammobile.com/firmware/ and after update, no more root, no more custom kernel, no more deoxeded ROM, Binary count increase.
• Via Mobile Odin Pro - ROM get at http://www.sammobile.com/firmware/ as well and after update, root remain, no more custom kernel, no more deoxeded ROM, No Binary count increase.

ROM size
Samsung S III firmware is 750MB++, download from kies or http://www.sammobile.com/firmware/ is same.

Mobile Odin Pro is better, because Mobile Odin Pro remain the root as it got feature call Enable EverRoot. Beside this, Mobile Odin Pro won't increase binary count where Desktop Odin will increase binary count.

Binary count is something not important unless Samsung start check on it during you send for service. It is there for track you flash how many times non stock rom.

* I make some statement wrong just before, flashed stock rom via PC odin won't increase binary count, binary count only increase on flashing non stock rom.

I am running nimpo now as well. not overclocking to 1800mhz, just keep at 1600mzh.

Also running latest Wanam XXALF6 Deodexed Stock ROM now. (not the WanamLite edition)

Never try franco.Kernel? I was wondering how to set setting for it voodoo sound.

Anyway I use franco kernel now and going to keep it for the moment. Not for it voodoo, but I find this kernel seems the best.

My impression on 3 kernel I try so far:

• Siyahkernel - smooth and stable but you can seen slighly lagging on 3D during Quadrant benchmark.
• Ninphetamin3 - smooth in 3D but not so stable, and having BIG lagging issue once screen lock, the phone is lagging like hell sometimes. This is my second try already, going to skip it probably forever. Actually I dislike this dev behavior, I write something my 1st time phone get restart in his thread, then they reply back in dunno what kind of language where I can't even Google translate it, also they put such a long crap story in front for what?
• franco.Kernel - 3D performance as smooth as Ninphetamin3 and it actually given me the highest score in antutu benchmark among others even though it only run at default clock speed of 1400mhz.

For now, I am sticking with franco.Kernel unless I found anything bad behavior.

Setting remain, even after you try others kernel and back to siyah, the setting at extweaks for siyah still remain.
