Afternoon.

Cheque from TMnet...deposit when I ended my Streamyx 4MB subscription last year.
2002 - 2011.
Now using Unifi.

QUOTE
Cheque amount = RM150.

Updated my Maybank savings book.

15 June - Cheque bank in (CL) = RM150
18 June - Cheque returned (RTD) = RM0.00

The cheque was returned.
What should I do now?
Ask Tmnet?
Discuss the reason with the Maybank Customer Service Executive at any Maybank branch?

It's not everyday I get a cheque or much less a returned problem.
So, do not know what to do biggrin.gif
RM150 still money bro tongue.gif

I think you should call TmNet and let them find out and reissue to you.

The cheque was bank in by my dad.

Since if I called TmNet, I need to give them some info about the cheque; cheque number, bank etc.

Or I can get if by asking my dad?

Dude I think I misunderstood your post.

Anyways if the cheque is from your dad and it is returned you may want to check with your dad.

I dont think the bank will disclose reason for return cheque to protect privacy of customers. Anyways returned cheque is serious if related to insufficient funds. Best to ask yo dad then smile.gif

The cheque was issued by TmNet, not my dad biggrin.gif
So, the cheque must be returned to TmNet.

My dad only bank in the cheque for me.

Wait a couple of days, the bank will mail you a piece of paper informing you that the cheque has been returned, and the reason (usually a cryptic, uninformative one), and the details like amount, cheque number, etc.

Do not throw away that piece of paper. That is the IRD. It's not just any old piece of paper. In some (exceptional cases) it can be used as the original cheque to bank in again. Of course whether it's possible or not depends on the original reason why the cheque was returned in the first place.

How come the second amount is RM0.00 and not -RM150.00?

Damn lol Whats on my mind? Anyways as per above you should check with TmNet as since your dad just bank in and I believe did not in anyway alter the cheque from TmNet.

Could be an issue of TmNed "cancelling" the wrong cheque and thus cheque invalid and returned.

Already email TMNet.

They are trying to resolve it.
Even asked my photocopy of IC, address etc.

Thank you.
Surely it will be mailed at my parents home.
Since I used my parents home address when I applied for both TmNet and Maybank.

Just an example.
Exact balance is a few thousand biggrin.gif

Example;

1,026.55 - Before deposit sad.gif
1,187.90 - After deposit (RM161.35) biggrin.gif
1,026.55 - After cheque returned. rclxub.gif
