Anyone try caddy case before? and i keep on see the ram run on dual...what is mean by that? Do i need both same Mhz to achieve this? And what is the advantages over this?

can i know whether 1 8gb ram is better or 2x4gb ram? which 1 provide better performance?

Becoz i manage to found 200 for 8gb while 100 for 4gb so i was thinking which 1 to tae since same price

Since G55 come with 4gb ady so i just add another 4gb will it run in dual channel? and the model and brand must be same? what is the brand of ram come with G55?

Hi everyone. I had go through some thread on ROG forum and i found that ASUS G55 really got a lot of issue....

1. heat issue
2. bsod
3. keyboard key tear off
4. cannot re-paste heatsink
5. Bad service after sale.

so end up should i still go with it? I worry after i pay so much but end up the time for repair is cost more than mine price. And this is my 1st time planning to get such high price of laptop, anything went wrong, i will get pawn by my parent. So any user can giv me comment? i need help here. If really ok, i plan to et it by next week....

1. It not bullshit... this had been discuss in ROG forum. i know tat the temp can be consider as normal but one had re-paste the heat sink then then temp drop at least 15 degree...so this is what i'm consider
2.BSOD...happen on some user and i din said all...
3. u can find 1 in previous post.

Yes, the super glue is hot. need to be careful...I nt a technician but i like to dismantle and assembly computer or laptop. so roughly know a little bit here n there

Actually this is normal...for some hdd it does produce some clicking sound as well as my laptop..no matter use or no use, as long as the hdd is running it will produce. but u need to make sure that there is no 'like lag spike' while u r using ur laptop normally then is ok ady...u can check hdd life by using HDD Life
