UK recruiters are generally looking more into personal background/ experience against results.
I have attended a number of job interviews in the UK earlier this year, so far majority of them did not even mention results.
Received a few job offers and finally made a decision to accept one not long ago, I am glad that the package is fairly good if to judge with salary for graduates in the UK.
My advice is, when you are doing your CV and cover letter for job application, try highlighting your experience and how it can be related to the company and if possible, how they can benefit the company etc..
