Aerocool Baydream aka Aerocool Masstige

i like this one. RM335 from forumer moderno (@moderno, u still selling aerocool stuff?). otherwise i saw it for rm400 in sunway pyramid. go to the bottom of the page for reviews. only downside i see with ths case is u cant use chapalang or even icute PSUs due to the short cables. ur gonna need a PSU with long cables in order to have good cable management (the branded ones)

havent seen anyone using this case yet..... any LYN forumers using this casing?

or...u could browse the bulk section. u can find coolermaster, thermaltake and tsunami cases there. someone is also selling the CM ACTS and GMC cases to clear his stock.

If ur budget is like rm300, why not go for Thermaltake Soprano model? The price is like Rm 300.

http://www.thermaltake.com/product/Chassis...o/vb1000sws.asp

Otherwise, go for Armor.

hey i checked it out...u r right, it has all the features that i want...but the only problem is that the side panel is on the left side of the casing and all installation must be done through the left side of the casing....also, from wat i see, the m/b has to be installed upside down cuz the expansion slots are located way on top of the casing and for the psu, it is located all the way below the casing...why is everything upside down in this casing????

is there another version of this casing where the side panel is on the right side???

the reason its all upside down is because its a BTX case.... aka ATX upside down. kinda cool actually.

but if u still want the normal one...i saw one in sunway pyramid it centre. only diff is that the front sort of have an acrylic thingy and theres no side window. internals, not too sure.

the baydream i think i saw before in sri comp. PSU, i suggest using one with long cables to ensure it can reach the mobo etc.. i think the cheapest option would be the enlight.

but both the btx and atx cases i mentioned are sold in sunway pyramid IT centre. both in diff shops. but the are just behind one another.

if u decide to get the baydream....be sure to post what its like using it... pix...etc. im actually interested in getting one muh self. just dunno where to put only as all my rigs are pretty much done tongue.gif

Wanna try Chieftec? I am using the casing and it is pretty much room for you to work on. But it is abit heavy though, dont think it is on aluminum. Other than that thumbs up for Chieftec. The price is <RM300.

The link Chieftec.

Chieftec is a nice casing especially office series. But beware this casing very heavy. This casing good and suitable for putting water cooling system inside. Maybe can try ask C-Zone or Robyncom about this casing.

350 for casing + psu.....

enlight psu= 150 (i think la..not sure about enlight prices)
casing.... left about 200.... mebbe try

CM Centurion 5 for RM 190 or CM Centurion 530 for RM 200

both prices taken from Moderno's Bulk

one thing though.... wht kinda setup u thinking of? coz if its a power rig than the enlight PSU might not be able to handle the rig. honestly, i think its better to set aside RM300 to get a good PSU. not advisable to be skimping on the PSU. then mebbe u can get a capalang casing around RM100 and mod it urself to give it better airflow.

uhuh...... i would recommend something thats at least 450w true power MINIMUM . look for them enermax's theyre a popular choice in this forum. but then to be safe get a 500w true power. thatll set u back more than 300 for the PSu alone.

time to recalculate ur budget dude biggrin.gif

Well...the power of the PSU is actually depending on ur needs...why cut a chicken using cow's knife? tongue.gif I think if ur PC is normal usage without many drives or HDD or very highend GPU, then 420W is more than enough already.

Well..I vote for "go waaay overkill on psu" cos you wouldn't wanna skim on it.

If it goes balistic, it's likely to take the rest of the hardware along with it.

Problem is...most people think of their psu budget only AFTER settled on everything else whereby it should be up there with the CPU and VGA. Heck...I think even a slower cpu, crappier mobo, smaller HDD is worth it for a good psu.

Problem is...most people think of their psu budget only AFTER settled on everything else whereby it should be up there with the CPU and VGA. Heck...I think even a slower cpu, crappier mobo, smaller HDD is worth it for a good psu.
*
I'd agree on a GOOD PSU...buy a good one...but about the power, surely over kill wont do no harm, anyhow i think 420W is more than enough for my T-Bred proc and its company smile.gif

Basically I'm running a lesser powered rig than the dood...

Winchester + DFI UltraD + 78GT + 3x HDD = Seasonic S12 600W!!!!!

Which I changed after my supposedly good enough Enermax Coolergiant 485W went kaboom.

T-Bred + NF7-S + 9200 + 1xHDD = Chieftec TruePower 420W (i think already overkill, don't u think so? biggrin.gif)

uhuh...... i would recommend something thats at least 450w true power MINIMUM . look for them enermax's theyre a popular choice in this forum. but then to be safe get a 500w true power. thatll set u back more than 300 for the PSu alone.

time to recalculate ur budget dude biggrin.gif

I say its worth the money to get a Good PSU for long term use, even my Antec went boom once, a 380W one, then I switched to an Enlight 420, which has been serving me well for nearly a year already.

Dunno bout you guys, but if I were to go for brandless PSU's, I'd rather go with those brands like AVF or Sunflower. Sure, they're pretty much brandless, or from one company and rebranded, but they actually make pretty decent performers.

Just wonder is there any Casing that have screwless for Motherboard installed? I might change Motherboard very frequent, that is why I ask often.
