Anyway, yesterday I see from Jayacom price list and I found that Corsair D3 Vengeance 1600 SODIMM only sell RM93!! But Jayacom Digital Mall said no stock....
Added on August 8, 2012, 8:59 amAnd if I install that RAM to my laptop with the default RAM they will be compatible? Seems like Corsair Vengeance CAS latency is different with the default one Corsair Vengeance CAS letency is 9-9-9-24 and default one is 8-9-10-11 This post has been edited by sss2sssss: Aug 8 2012, 08:59 AM |

QUOTE(chopin @ Aug 8 2012, 07:59 PM) hi all, would like to know from any owner of Y480, Y580 & N56: The first question I can answer u on Lenovo Y4801. Does your gear having any overheat problem? can you post temperature data showing temperatures at idle, and full load? especially interested to know if Asus N56 runs cooler than lenovo or not. 2. I read from here and cari.com that some owners of Lenovo modify their gear by taking out the dvd drive and place the hdd there with a caddy, and put an ssd in the original hdd slot. reportedly this lowers temp by 10c. - would this violate the warranty? 3. can we do step 2, by just moving the hdd but not putting any ssd (leave the slot empty)? 4. how much would the caddy cost? Today temp, cooling by Cooler Master U2 with 4 fans.... The Max Value is when play Need for Speed Hot Pursuit at Graphic Max setting, and my rent house air flow system poor... The min value is idle(before gaming), and current is idle(after gaming and watching video) ![]() |

Mine one seems like auto, coz got default device settings in Realtek there(I don't have any SPDIF digital output device so can't test)Just check realtek audio properties any digital output and any red light come out from headphone port as per Y470 below. According to Y480/580 spec sheet, its headphone/spdif combo but not in manual. Y470 headphone port is combo with SPDIF as in link HERE. QUOTE(rockccf @ Aug 11 2012, 10:41 AM) Got myself a Y580 FHD. The laptop is simply awesome. U can go Manage 3D settings there to adjust....Best value for money. Added on August 11, 2012, 11:10 amOn my nvidia control panel, I only see 3D Settings followed by Adjust image settings with preview Manage 3D settings Set Physx Configuration Do i have to set the default graphic processor to nvidia? If i play games, i suppose the laptop will be using the GTX 660M to render the graphics right? Usually they will automatically adjust just for some game u may need to add and force to NVIDIA GPI by ur own |
