I bought the Y480 with GT650, the spec really worth the price (RM 23XX)
The graphic card is GDDR 5, while ASUS N56VZ is GDDR3
The HDD temperature almost same as Y580, really abang adik
Congratz to u in getting a Killer model Y480 with killer specs & price. Its really too good to be true.

Thank u so much for posting the test results, as many potential buyers are quite concern about the temp. reading.
Nice CPU temp below 90c after 4 min of Full stress, tho' the temp. is still increasing & not yet stable. Ya, HDD temp is relative high like his brother Y580, but it can be easily take care by adding a suitable cooler

. Unfortunately, no GPUz to determine its temp. & any throttling.
Wonder how Y480 fare against his abang Y580's temperature reading in Full stress test as quoted below.

CPU temperature maintain btw 82-92. Most of the time on 88-89. I recorded a video, the upload speed so slow...
After 10 mins, HDD back to 54.

dude! you can OC it to be same like GTX660M without any problem. But risk on your own.
http://nbbbs.zol.com.cn/44/223_439945.htmlhttp://www.gaminglaptopsjunky.com/gtx-660m-gt-650m-gddr5/May be 10%? 5%?
Y480 with GT650M(GDDR5) has a very high potential to OC like GTX660M(GDDR5)

, providing its temp. is under control & gpu not throttles by Lenovo. Cautious, do it at ur own risk.
By the way, ur Y580's GTX660M throttles by Lenovo when it hit 78c during OC. Haishhh...very disappointed, no luck to step it up.
