Yes,it will void your warranty but you can revert/restore it to stock iOS just like new.

would like to ask. how to make a backup for my new ipad before jb ?

Sync to itune

Plug in your iPad -> turn on your iTunes -> right click on 'XXX's iPad' column -> Backup
Then after backup, right click on 'XXX's iPad' again -> Transfer puchased.

That's it.

erm..to revert the new ipad back to original. is it from the backup ? or other ways ? coz the itunes usually auto backup..what should i do? dont rly understand.

BACKUP --> JB --> AUTOBACK --> backup gone?

backup the restore, it will restore back the previous setting

what if there's no backup. how to restore?
