if u bought from the apple online store then u call them for any hardware problem they will help u to exchangebut this no work if u bought at authorised reseller cause they normally asked u go back the place u bought and negotiate with them.
so for those who want buy the apple product kindly buy directly from apple or if u really want buy it at reseller,please do the research and asked the seller whether has DOA service

and why apple can offer exchange or refund but reseller cant?
from what i know is reseller product is get from supplier mean normally not directly get the stocks from apple
and different reseller may has different suppliers,therefore normally they won't exchange to the customers and asked us go to claim warranty
if exchange for us,they will less sell a goods and it is trouble to sent the problem goods go back.
Asked us claim warranty and they will avoid the trouble and make more profit.
