@Wakka8690, I think you still need to ask yourself if you really love Sandy, taking into consideration your age gap, financial position (I am not sure of your financial background) as well as your willingness to commit into a steady relationship.

If you do, talk to Sandy and give her the opportunity to choose on what she really wants. I think she is matured enough to make a decision. If she is willing to be yours, I think most of us here will be happy for you.

And I don't think you should cold towards her, unless you are willing to give her up. Cherish the one that you love.
