QUOTE(Chris Chew @ Nov 9 2012, 09:44 AM) Typical Sime Darby workmanship. Price is quite cheap tbh compared to other Phases. No wonder BBB. If SD increased the price another RM50k, itll still be BBB mode. But DA definitely their flagship product. Saffron Hills look very good and almost fully sold within 2 days. Geng. BBB mode again. |

QUOTE(rebecks @ Nov 8 2012, 11:07 AM) Just got back from collecting my keys. Overall seems OK. However, here are some of the issues I have found within the space of 1.5 hours at the house: 1. Tile gaps 2. Some hollow tiles 3. Dirty walls [small patches], need a coat of paint 4. Two door locks were not useable 5. Water mark on outside top floor plaster ceiling 6. Some uneven paints, walls There is electricity but no water yet [water meter installed]. The house comes with a Grundfos CM3-5PC pump, Inovar laminated floorings and Kimgress tiles to name a few. Will revisit the house again tomorrow for another round of checks... This post has been edited by rebecks: Nov 10 2012, 01:06 PM |

and I would think that Inovar is a good choice too for their varieties and workmanship. My house's laminated flooring (not in DA) was done by them..so I was quite happy to see their product being used in my new house now..

QUOTE(Prophunter @ Nov 10 2012, 11:13 PM) Saffron was launched half a year later than Aster Grove but the price (cheapest) was around 620k. Aster latest launch was 830k. I think your price of 620k for saffron is staff price or bumi price(misleading info)Bear in mind the built up and land size is not the same. But for own stay its a good deal Info read directly from their official catalog. Saffron hills (22x75) built-up from 2502 sqft Price rm678,888(min) - rm1,999,888(max) Roof framing: Metal Door main entrance :Engineered timber door Aster grove (24x80) built-up from 2734 sqft Price rm846,888(min)-rm2,169,700(max) Roof framing: quality roof system Door main entrance :Solid timber door |

I dont dare to call it cheap. But I wpuld say fair and affordable pricing since it had been snapped up quickly. It was down to the few SA who had great connectivity based VIP customers. I found it was part of the best ever SD marketing gimmicks. |

But judging from the materials used, Aster Grove will be better with more Electrical Points. Any idea if SH comes with 3 Phase wiring?Info read directly from their official catalog. Maybe affordable will be a better wordIt was down to the few SA who had great connectivity based VIP customers. I found it was part of the best ever SD marketing gimmicks. What do you mean? Means that the unit has been reserved to VIPs first prior to public release? Since more VIP buys DA, the price appreciates faster? This post has been edited by Prophunter: Nov 12 2012, 02:30 PM |

QUOTE(numbertwo @ Nov 12 2012, 04:36 PM) Good info. Thanks. I heard that some houses have 3 phase ready but only use one at the moment. Is it possible to upgrade later without much of a cost? And I notice that the cost for electricity per unit differs from a Single Phase to a 3 Phase. Correct? |
