How curious about how many major is those col and uni offering for Multimedia/ Graphic Design courses.

Does anyone of u know? Do you know the different between all the major?

Well for MMU we had 3 at my time (I think it's 4 now. not sure)

We had

Film & Animation (3D animation heavy course with some video )
Digital Media ( Geared towards interactive CD-ROMS / Information design )
Media Innovation ( Web-based design / e-commerce)

the fourth i heard was something to do with UI or games or something right? Anyone from MMU currently?

Interesting topic... anyone from other design colleges/unis want to chip in so we have a database on courses that could be refered to later?

Which uni is the best for Multimedia? My friend said MMU, TOC looks pretty good to me.

LUCT used to have a lot of subjects but now when you're going to finish the last two semesters, they'll ask students to choose their major.

There's audio/video, 2D, 3D and Interactive. Not sure if there are others now.

Games - virtual reality
so in total in MMU - got 5 majoring

it depends which course u choose to determine what course are available for majoring....(in LUCT)

- web design
- motion graphic
- 3d
- interactive (flash/director)

quite little to choose from if compared to the advanced diploma...
