anything that alters the setting of the phone's OS itself requires rooting in advance so that it provides u the right to change the settings in the android OS. smile.gif

I rooted my phone.
And going for V6 SC
I followed all the steps and reach the coding part. I was clicking files\firmwares\classout
I can't even find classout. Then i skip that coding part and it call me to enter my OS bit 64/32. So after that I continue all the way and manually merge the services.jar
Thats it. So Im done ? The cmd said Im done.
How to check whether Im done ? There's no apps called V6 Super Charger in the list ehhh ~

What ur android version? If 2.3.4, no need modify services.jar. Just run the script via script manager and apply it in your rom. If u on android 4.0.4, install stock based custom rom like jellysandwich or Ultimate HD which are already supercharged plus other script and tweaks that makes your device fast and smooth on android 4.0.4. wink.gif

coding is for older v6 sc version. latest version doesn't require you to do the coding. just install starter kit, script manager and run supercharger script.

all required file is in this page http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=991276

p/s: if you feel lost, just download "SuperCharger_Starter_Kit_RC12.zip" and "V6_SuperCharger_for_Android-Update9_RC11_Test_9.sh.pdf"

did you did anything to your phone? i think after you've unlocked the bootloader, the updater just won't update the phone. which software do you use for update? is it Sony PC Companion? try Sony Update Software.

edit: err... reading back your post, your phone is already 4.1.B.0.587 right? i think that is the latest update. no more update after that. hmm.gif

i'm never try ultimate HD .
but i'm also don't recommend JS .
(although i'd suggest it before)
because after a few weeks of using JS .
i can feel the ROM become less smoother .
and i had to do some reboot once a few days because of the lagness .
doh.gif
not sure if it only occured to me or every one else .
bcoz i'm still stick at JS 7.4 while they have got JS 8.3 IINM .
(i like the icon on the 7.4 than the newer version)

or the fact that i'm used smartwatch with my phone .
v6 supercharger also won't do much helps .
still prefer stock gb and cm7.2 .
in the end , it's better if you try it yourself .
smile.gif

anyone with ultimate HD xperience ?
hmm.gif

if you already root your phone .
just delete the updatecenter.apk at the system/apps folder to remove the annoying notification .
btw , i don't think sony will release any more update for 2011 xperia family .
(we already been abondoned by sony sad.gif)
so , that file is not needed anymore .

purchased it separately .
but now feel regret .
bcoz the smartwatch consume too much ram from my phone .
about 20 MB .
doh.gif

not suitable for 512 MB ram phones i guess .
better on 1 GB ram phones .
