If you have no money, try to ask some organisation for donation.

Not too sure. Although I think the costs varies between the state of the tumor, and the complexity of removing it.

Some surgeries government will cover because got subsidy. If its cancer, got subsidy.

Not sure about normal tumor. If its not malignant, recovery rate after surgery should be 80 to 90 percent.

Depends which hospital u r admitting to.

Cancerous or Non Cancerous?

My mom did a brain tumor operation few yrs back for RM40k++ but hers was non cancerous tumor at SJMC.

But no I don't recommend that hospital due to my mum was operated 3times in a day on the same spot of the surgery.

They even "accidentally" ter-snip one of my mom's nerve that makes her right eyelid to drop & can't be recovers anymore sad.gif

They didn't admit at 1st & said its the normal symptom after surgery. Said will recover, again 6mth & 6mths at the end the surgeon said its his fault.

this...i juz lost my brother one month ago due to this brain tumor sad.gif
u should go to HKL about this nuerosurgery...
many have go to private hospital but in the end they just come back to HKL coz if the tumor not treated properly, it will eventually grow back...
do u have another 40k to do the operation if it grow back?
ask personally for this Head of Department Neurosurgery Mr. Safari...
been given us a lot of support n help during our difficult time...
we cant repay what he have done n may god bless him smile.gif

try consult ur consulltant about it...
the radio or kimo doesn't juz for cancer or cancerous tumor...
if tumor does grow back, u will need to the radio in order to eliminate the roots of the tumor...
any surgeon cant take off 100% of the tumor by one surgery itself...
peace of mind, do the mri or ct scan as many as possible within few month after operation..
one year after the surgery is crucial period for tumor patient...
we never know if it gonna grow back or not..
be alert to any symptoms n supporting around is the best for them icon_rolleyes.gif smile.gif
