that engine break in is optional.. it just means floor the pedal. u can jz do it once/twice also enough.. if necessary.

2. manual or auto? that shud be the engine breaking, it wont use up more petrol. if u press accelerator to overcome that rev, u will end up using more petrol

3. aircond is like that, sometimes compressor works at intervals, thats y u hear it bising for a while, then suddenly quiet for a while n bising again. if u are constantly driving, very seldom that u will feel hot when aircond is max in hot weather.

@isildur : whichever suits u, haha, if u rather fork out the cash rather than the hassle. you can just go ahead.

@mivecwira : usually after 1k can drive faster already, the logic explained by other senior members here is that the engine parts, are more refined after the 1k service. there are posts in previous threads. so after 1k u can drive faster. they say its to tune up ur ECU so it knows ur driving style, and in long term helps to conserve petrol. break in is definitely optional, i only do it sometimes. haha.

engine breaking in auto, is totally normal.. u need control brake, not accelerator during that part. fyi im from sarawak, and i drove up from kuching to sibu recently, a total of 450km. there was 2 hills, as i was going down, despite engine braking at 2.5k rpm, my car speed was nearing 80-100km/h. and the engine braking is a big advantage for our car, especially if you are driving the Genting road.

and finally, itu aircond sound memang powerful. proton has one of the strongest aircond compared to others.

that one is PnP. That switch is an emergency override to unlock the doors in case everything gone wonky.

Thats mean can install la..can diy? where the switch to connect to?  Thinking to install 1 since saga x have 1 of this function. Eh but that button is for reset/override the alarm?Does it mess up the system then? sorry asking lot of noob question..

No, it will not affect the original function of that button. It will just add one more function, which is to unlock your doors.

The single unconnected cable shld be tapped to the "live" cable that goes to the rear brake lamp. IINM it's the Green-coloured cable @connecting socket.
Test with "test lamp"/multimeter 2confirm.

Fyi most SCs use 10W40 SS.
However it appears recent User Manuals hv put 10W30 as reco EO grade.
Frankly tho, all those 2, incl 20W50, are suitable API grades for our climate.

Most new car we recommend to use 10W30 and cars aging bout 5 yrs above use 10W40

i tak tau diy. lol. i bagi duit then go sit onn sofa let people do it for me only. lately no time for DIY thing. That button is just to unlock the doors in case everything goes cookoo. If the alarm is triggered, just deactivate ie using remote lo.

If yu get the OEM ABL module, no messing up of wires.
Juz PnP...except for 1 cable.
So no worries... 

NB. Juz don't buy the "Universal" Module ie the one with its own separate push-button switch to UNlock doors. Then yu'll need 2pull a long cable 2dashboard & drill a hole 2install that switch. 

Me got fr Bro Sh@rty5 in Klang. Hv been usingvwith no probs since Sept last year. 
The Mudah one very much cheaper...dunno if same tho.

OEM ABL module is PnP install!
Only 1 own cable connection...not need 2cut any wires if worried re Warranty.
