QUOTE(dares @ Jun 18 2012, 12:33 AM) Why la so emo? I say fender because it is easier to understand, of course the strut bar is not tied to the flimsy outer shell of the car la. If not I'll have to say "that part of chassis on the side of the engine bay behind the strut tower". i no shoot u bro. i generalize things. coz some of them mistaken ur fender as in really unto the fender. so i have to provide a clearer description which is the chasis frame, not fenders. i dun wan mis communication among knowledge that can be a flame in future. Any additional reinforcement members must be tied to the chassis, else there is no point, be it 3Max, UR, Cusco or whatever. QUOTE(ibnuasad @ Jun 18 2012, 12:03 AM) UR bulk price is everywhere now. but ah..1. not to be sarcastic, u sure u want strut bar? u not listen ur mech say it is not worth to have one? 2. u not blmclub member? not prosboc member? i tot UR bulk is available for both at the moment, just price tag haven fix. cheers. no hard feeling bro. just curious and asked. |

QUOTE(SiuYi @ Jun 18 2012, 12:57 AM) You mean coolkwc? I think he also understood that it is tied to the chassis, but he meant that that part of the chassis is part of the crumple zone and migt not be as stiff as the firewall I am not sure if that area is part of the designated crumple zone, so I cant say whether he is correct. QUOTE(davidke20 @ Jun 18 2012, 12:39 AM) Opps forgot to add http:// in front http://epicsaga.com.my/pdf/sagafl_1.6_brochure.pdf QUOTE(dares @ Jun 18 2012, 12:43 AM) Thanks for the fix. The comparison was for the guy earlier who was looking at Mudah ads for a secondhand model. I'm not sure if the taxi 1.6 is the IAFM version. It probably is.I'm pretty surprised the tork for the 1.3 IAFM is pretty flat between 2,000 and 3,000 RPM. So I guess if you want moar pulling power, forget about 3k and tekan sampai 4k RPM This post has been edited by lhwj: Jun 18 2012, 01:05 AM |

Maybe when we visit the 3Max factory for installation we can see if the designer of the FSB for Gaga is available then we ask him I am not sure if that area is part of the designated crumple zone, so I cant say whether he is correct. |

There are FSBs that tie to the front of the vehicle pun. Thats crumple zone for you!![]() |

Wrong or not, up to the public to debate and correct me but from what i can sense that ur throwing a statement, not a discussion. u are providing a harsh conclusion and u are firm with ur stand. ur statement annoys certain people and u dun feel bad with that.Ha? Stiffer than persona... i might not be the right person to comment over anything. but at least a respect is required in a big forum like lyn. we dun argue to win a debate, but to work out for the solution or maybe a round conclusion which might solve our questions. |

From economy point of view, that method is simply not feasible. Constructing and developing two different chassis with different structural rigidity for each 1.3 and 1.6 will eventually cost more than constructing and developing a single chassis which could be used for both 1.3 and 1.6. Take the CZ9A Evo X and the current normal Lancer for instance. From the inception of the project, Mitsubishi developed the chassis from ground up for the Evo X in mind. Then they tone down on the looks, finishing and drivetrain to make it become a normal lancer. Both shares the same chassis and this in turn reduce costs and increase profitability as they can achieve a good economies of scale. |

Haha, the FLX SE should have stiffer chassis lor Anyway, here's the source from the Preve thread: QUOTE(mat79 @ May 3 2012, 09:55 AM) when i said about rigid chasis, iinm, iswara@saga based torsion n bending rigidity around 7000nm, wira based around 9000nm, waja nearly 13000nm, gen2@persona more or less the same as waja with some revision at 13000nm, satria neo at 14000nm++, savvy based such saga 17000nm, exora 18000nm and preve at 19000nm added with 12 parts hpf reinforcement that double up the strength of ahss using boron steel which is lighter than ahss. The less surge feeling not only due to engine tuning, but also chasis refinement as u can see above. QUOTE(mat79 @ May 3 2012, 10:02 AM) |
