CFE have to swap the whole engine leh, or at least swap out some of the internals. Supercharger just PnP tongue.gif If it's the same supercharger for the Artiga, that's 240Nm@4,800 and 180bhp@6,500 drool.gif

dares, poison me more for that strutbar from mahihi.. i still got time to change my mind cause im installing the ultra racing this saturday smile.gif

Bulk close dy laugh.gif

I dunno how to poison you also, other than the obvious 2 more mounting points on the part-of-the-chassis-on-top-of-the-enine-bay-behind-the-wheel-well whistling.gif

more points = more parts of the chassis to share the load. I am curious why UR don't have 4 point FSB for Saga, they have 3 point FSB for Persona that mounts to the firewall also hmm.gif

that day i teman my fren pasang his iswara also the ultra racing.. got 3 points... triangle shape. haha..

very weird.. when i ask ultra racing guy when gt japan that day. why saga dont 4 points or 3 points?

he reply me back..you bring your car to go race? if yes than we have, but its not for commercialize its custom made for saga for race... please refer to their main hq..

so i just said for normal use.. he reply.. the 2 point its sufficient enough to handle the car. his reply a bit lan si laa.. cause im driving saga only.. but i dont care lah as long the name and reputable is there.. if not why they are still no.1 in chassis strut bar? hahaha..

after i talk to him he pass to me the card say anything call me..

that guy title is "Associate Director for Ultra Racing Malaysia"

no wonder so lansi!!! hahaha..  but he so cool laa.. even say call him if anything. lol...

yes if i manage to install strut bar.. i will post the pic and also the feedback..
*
Doesn't make sense. Why BLM road use 2 points enuff, but Iswara and Persona need 3 points?

I say BS shakehead.gif

Actually, if I remember correctly, the Saga chassis does have higher torsional rigidity compared to the Persona and Iswara chassis'.

I dun get 3Max, do they not realize the importance of branding? They don't even have a proper website (do they?), they don't do many roadshows (if any) like UR does. What gives? are they completely relying on their customer's to spread the word? Look at the amount of time and money UR invests in popularizing their product.

No offense to mahihi, if UR had a 3-point or 4-point FSB, I would have chose UR, since I have no idea what is the difference in quality. THAT is the power of branding.

Just my honest 2 sens.

She hasn't driven it yet. She drove my dad to the showroom to pick it up and he drove the old car back. She doesn't want my dad to teach her, hahaha..But dunno la, maybe in the next few days she'll change her mind. I'm supposed to teach her when I go back though.

OK then.

Remember, jerking at low speed (<40km/h) is NORMAL flex.gif Just imagine driving a manual car at first gear and adjust accordingly laugh.gif

Haha, I won't say it's terrible, but for someone who is used to the regular torque converter AT it can be pretty annoying.

It's not a big problem, once you get use to it and learn to control the throttle.

But I'm sure you guys would still prefer a clutch based CVT over a torque converter CVT for the power and efficiency wink.gif
*
Clutch is always more efficient than torque converter, I do wonder do all clutch-based CVT jerk like Saga's?

It's common for clutch-based CVT to jerk like this, sorta like half-clutching so to speak, the previous City can be induced to jerk like that too although somehow it's a little more refined.

Yes, those "leather" seats have to go, not a fan of leather seats especially in Malaysian weather. Clear tail lamps, well, that's optional but they don't go so well if you were to choose the red/maroon colour.
Well.. I suppose that's the first time anyone posted on the forum about it, but it had been done before especially the leather seats part. One man's meat can be another man's poison. wink.gif Personally, the smoke tail lamps just look odd on the red/maroon FLX SE, it's ok with the white though. icon_rolleyes.gif

i was wondering, was it all proton CVT based car using clutch converter? (ex. inspira, exora bold, preve)
*
lol, it's torque converter or wet clutch. no such thing as clutch converter.

All Campro CVT Proton car uses the wet clutch. Only the Inspira which is a rebadged Lancer GT uses a torque converter with it's CVT.

Guys, update on my flx se, the drum brake changed a new 1, then it was the same again after 2 weeks. making me suspect they didnt change it.

now is about 2 months, the sound is still there, plan to go other service centre when i am free.

Now got some problem is, morning when i start my car, it is always need to wait till 2 square of heat level only can drive smoothly without jerking/choking. Anyway to improve this?
*
In my sister's Vios, during cold start the engine will automatically rev to 1,500 RPM for about a minute before dropping back to 800 RPM.

So I try to emulate that with my Gaga: whenever I start the car, I slowly rev it to 1.5k RPM, then slowly release the pedal and let the RPM drop to idle. After that I do it one more time, then slot it into D and drive. Shouldn't take more than a minute. The key is to press and release slowly.

Revving the engine does two things: a) allow the engine to warm up to optimum operation temperature sooner and b) allow the oil in the CVT to slosh around and lubricate the clutch, reducing the jerk.

*
Why would this damage the engine? blink.gif blink.gif

Petronas Syntium. You can use other engine oil if you know what you are doing.
