not really.. SII users still top the number of users at 1445.    But out there (outside of LYN forum), there are tonnes of new SIII users.  My wife's boss's son and daughter who previously using iPhone all along, switch to their first android phones after kena poison by my wife's SIII.    My wife become the "guru" of android phone in her office now....lol...

are you sure heavy memory usage will affect the performance of the phone?  I think Android will handle it efficiently.  I never monitor anything in my android phone since my HTC Desire>Desire HD>Note, except my data usage.

no need to do any settings.  You can deselect those apps that you may not want to keep in the new flash of ROM.  But do a complete backup (system+apps+data) occasionally.

i think that getting the 16gb model is better, since u can add ext memory card.
this makes it a habit to backup your files more often.
recovering from the internal storage is not easy unless u root the device,
since ics now makes your phone detect as mtp and ptp when connected via usb.

Guys would it be better to get 32G rather than 16G if price difference is about RM200.00. My view is to have bigger internal memory for faster retrieve of data/program. Any other views or review.......?????

hi, did anyone of u face "Server error. Please try again" while playing with s-voice? How to solve it?

It would be great having larger internal memory but i prefer my files to be on external storage unless you would want to copy full movies on your device.
Just to share, my s3 was factory reset by samsung technician because the device kept on restart due to software issue. all my files and pictures are wiped off and no way to recover them. making use of dropbox. going to get a microsd card soon.

RM200 can almost get you a 64GB class 10 microsd already.  The system internal memory for installing apps is still 2GB no matter the phone is 16GB or 32GB, correct me if i m wrong though.

Even my wife who is a hopeless audiophile comment the S3 audio quality is the best she had ever hear from all the phones I have use.
HOX definitely loses out to it widely

I believe all the apps can reside in the phone 11.5GB storage as there's no more partition edi. The rest is for the phone system. It way much bigger than 2GB app storage plus 2GB phone system on S2 and GNote.

No, the SGS3 has a single partition for the internal storage which is the way google wants android device to move towards in ICS so the bigger the internal storage the more space for apps there is.

It does not have separate partitions for apps and other data like older phones which is why there is no longer mass storage mode in the S3 since the phone will go haywire if the single partition is dismounted since all apps are in there.
