QUOTE(Andy214 @ Jun 29 2012, 09:55 AM) The usual installment plan is 12 months. Dependent on bank, some maybe 6 months only. I have the feeling it was all planned all along, together with the multiple Osborne effects that eventually leads toCan't really compare with MeeGo, it's stable, smooth and have best true multi-tasking capability. Too bad Nokia decided to abort it before it was fully born, now it's premature baby. Added on June 29, 2012, 10:04 am Notice? More like planned all along. Later renamed to Microsoft Maps with very small disclaimer "developed by Nokia" Nokia Lumia has lost it's uniqueness in WP, loosing their one of the most important features... Now it's a built-into WP8. How can Lumia compete against the giant Samseng? When WP8 available, most likely Samseng might launch their device first and likely to attract more people, due to now it's a more popular brand name, and Nokia name isn't good especially after it has disappoint many people. Nokia only have Lumia to compete, and they have to face competition from others, such as Samseng. Can they gain enough market? It's not like Apple, where iOS only exclusive for Apple. WP is not exclusive for Nokia, means Microsoft don't have to care about Nokia, they can switch to Samseng, especially since Samseng now is the more successful one. MS is basically riding on Nokia to go through their tough times until their OS reach their milestone. Nokia used to be one of the best, conquering every category. Imagine if Nokia has Android devices, they might conquer imaging category, we might see N-GAGE reborn in Android version and compete against Xperia Play.... We might just be able to see Nokia shine again, like they used to when they're using Symbian OS. Sadly, they go single platform, only use WP, looosing all the markets in Android, giving FREE to Samseng, HTC and others. Majority of their Symbian customers switch to Android, since Nokia have no Android, they switch to Samseng mainly, hence Samseng able to grow rapidly so fast in such SUPER SHORT time. Last time, Samseng shop is like a typical small phone shop, suddenly it GREW so fast, become bigger than Nokia with showrooms like Apple and many service centre setup, even in less popular areas, where even Nokia doesn't have. All these is like they get FREE from Nokia, thanks to Nokia's 1 very wrong decision. MICROSOFT BUYING NOKIA |

QUOTE(emino @ Jun 29 2012, 10:41 AM) She said If I want instalment 1799. Still fairly cheaper than Nokia store I guess. And its freaking BLACK! Hard to get. Last unit left though. Too bad at Klang. I hate Klang. Very bad experience there. So cash can get RM1699?KTS in Aeon Bukit Raja right? If yes, you don't have to enter Klang town, you avoid all of that because it's very near the highway only. |

MICROSOFT BUYING NOKIA Rumor has it... *beat* *beat* A well planned strategy, infiltrate and attack from inside. Symbian and Maemo/MeeGo was killed. Before Elop plan, there was great plan by Nokia, based on the roadmap, suddenly it's all scrapped and gone, just like that, and after Elop plan, Nokia is practically giving away their customers to others, especially Samseng, which brings it to No. 1 stop in such short time, easily with NO competition. Logically speaking, even if they want to adop WP, there's no need to kill Symbian or MeeGo. Even if they want to stop it one day, there's NO NEED to announce the death of Symbian and MeeGo, LONG BEFORE Lumia even available. They can start selling Lumia first, and when WP OS stable and become popular, then they can slowly phased out the OS which they think is not doing well, and they can maintain their customers. BUT NO... they announce they will execute Symbian, 1 year BEFORE they even have Lumia, they abort MeeGo before it's even delivered, causing in premature delivery; what happens, majority of their customers left... I'm not business student or study in business course, but I just cannot understand the logic in Elop's strategy. Maybe too skilled or actually, it was his plan all along, bring down Nokia shares, kills off everything, buy it's division part by part, obtains it's licenses or patents, etc.? If this is true, then it's really sad to see what's happening and what will eventually become of Nokia. They were once so great, and they could've been great too, if they didn't opt for single platform OS. This post has been edited by Andy214: Jun 29 2012, 11:00 AM |

QUOTE(Agito666 @ Jun 29 2012, 11:00 AM) Credit Card, not sure Debit Card. How it works basically like this. Let's say your Credit Card credit limit is RM5K You buy the phone RM1899 with 12 months installment @ 0% interest Rough explanation: Your credit limit will immediately reduce by RM1899. Means, you're left with balance of RM3101 available for your to use. Then every month, the bank will charge you RM158.25 (RM1899 / 12). You don't have to pay immediately. When the statement comes, you will see your charges is RM158.25 and you have about 15 days (I think) to pay this amount. If you don't pay, then they will charge interest based on the outstanding. If there's any incorrect or inaccurate information, please do correct me. |

QUOTE(Agito666 @ Jun 28 2012, 11:38 PM) Depending on bank. If 0% installment, between 6 to 12 mmonths, normally 6 months. 12 months to 36 months they charge interest. The installment is separate from the normal monthly credit card payment. I.e. Installment lets say its RM160, other outstanding is RM500. Then need to pay RM160 + 5 percent of RM500. I see its ur sis c.c. Then easy, you pay her every month the installment. Call up the bank 1st ya, not all banks have 12 mths 0% installment, mine dont cos they dont charge admin fee This post has been edited by eaglehelang: Jun 29 2012, 12:31 PM |
