lalalalallala~
bought my i5 n56 yesterday.. im quite happy with it!
except that 15.6 laptop is too big compared to 15.3..
what i love the most is the backlit keyboard.. awesome!! but i dont think the numpad should be there..

Added on July 21, 2012, 7:50 amuser posted image

for normal usage, the temperature reach as above.. how about urs??
*
Agree, numpad shouldn't be there. Maybe ASUS just want to be unique from others.

Not clear I don't quite understand your situation.

So your laptop auto restarts when you play games? wink.gif

Why reinstall fresh copy of windows inside?
Just uninstall all unnecessary programs in it?

Truthfully there is nothing to worry about. Laptop CPUs and GPUs are designed to withstand more heat compared to desktops.

60+ is considered very mild heat during gaming. And the laptop is made of aluminium, so heat may be felt more compared to plastic.

My laptop goes up to 95 during gaming, never had a worry  laugh.gif

I'm just exactly like you now. Plan to buy one before my UNI commencement day.
Yet, I phoned to some GadgetZone Outlets in Penang.
They said it has no stock and unsure when is the stock arrive.
Even the Royal Club Asus not sure about it.

Is anyone know which outlet in Penang/BM is having or selling ASUS N56VZ-S3088V? Or when is the stock available?

or you save your startup items (use CCleaner) and let us see if you can disable unnecessary things?
you can disable some auto startup services too, or if you think it's critical I suggest you use Soluto  blink.gif

Hye all..Im doing more to video editing stuff..My budget is only for Asus N56 i5...Will it be any lagging while doing my work? I have N53 i7 last time but is already gone. ( STEAL ). If I use i5 system, will it be much effect to my editing workflow? Slow rendering? thanks all
*
Video editing stuff I suggest you stick with i7 hmm.gif
Since your budget is RM2700, you can get i7 but with a much decent GPU yawn.gif

Wow, I'm getting really excited now. Hopefully I can get mine before this Friday. The boss say after raya only they start deliver the stocks.
And I guess you won the gamble. You got the non-faulty one. Hah good for you.

Extra question, did anyone upgraded the warranty? Should I do so?
*
Don't upgrade warranty.

Day 3 of usage, so far no problem. The speaker on the N56Z really rocks. And the laptop is really a beauty.

A problem towards ASUS's after sales service. Is it really that bad? There got no positive comments about there good service, all is bad. Condemning how Asus sucks. This and that. If these are all true, I will cancel my order and change my mind. sigh. Too bad
*
Dude Dude, their laptops and product rocks that's true.
Just incase of your laptop spoil or whatever just don't send in warranty.

wow can it slowly sync the apps? chrome is fast but it boosts everything at once(based on the small lag when I sync my bookmarks)

It's not that sync problem, just it happened at that very moment.

Keep getting BSOD -.-
Added free 4GB ram on purchase btw.

what is your frequency of your new added RAM?
There are several issues regarding added RAM causing bsod and auto-restart problem here, do check them out  smile.gif

HonestlyBuyer, google will save all data of your google chrome, so cookies, bookmarks, theme, settings all can sync from other computer  biggrin.gif

Okay, I just changed my RAM. (Confirmed the main cause)
Hopefully BSOD won't happen again ><

My touchpad is in perfect state by the way, don't have to go to the edge of the touchpad in order to register clicks.

Yeah I have been using more than 20minutes already, no BSOD.
But must test by playing some games first tongue.gif

N56 rox

Overall just the 4gb ram problem, no other problem~

EDIT : BSOD problem solved, laptop working like a boss. N56 really worth smile.gif
