Like this cannot meh? Must had special format?

I put mine like this:

I understand that my notice period is 1 month notice as stated in my employment contract but I would like to join my new employer at the earliest date. Therefore, I would like to request a waiver on the total duration of the notice period offset by the number of leave days I have left. I leave this to the HR team expertise to calculate and determine my earliest effective termination date.

Please be assured that I will do all I can to assist in the smooth transfer of my responsibilities during my notice period.

If you are not having a good relation with your boss, I highly doubt he will release you earlier to join the new company  

Please accept this as my formal notice of resignation from the position of xxx at yyy company, with effect from 1st January 2012.

I realize that my contract of employment requires me to work until 1st March 2012, however I would be grateful to be released earlier on 1st February 2012, and will assume that this is acceptable unless you inform me to the contrary.

Please let me know the arrangements for handing over outstanding work and responsibilities. I will do my best to finish my current projects before my last day.

my notice is 3 months...after deduct all the AL and replacement leave, it almost 2 months but somehow i need to early release in a month...

any other reason?
