QUOTE(khoh @ Jun 15 2012, 05:08 PM) Of course all electronics need power to run , can't Mifi fully charge before use ? and E355 getting the juice from usb port or direct from wall plug , so what he difference and by the way you need to charge your notebook and handphone also to be mobile. For Mifi, with only 1 - 2 person connected, the battery can last only 3 - 4 hours.. if 5 person, lesser. My point a fully charged MIFI can be instantly used for hotspot and share with 5 users regardless is notebook , handphone or tablets etc. Mifi can become really hot, perfomance degraded when hot.. I keep losing connection everyday. E355 got less heat elements (battery and charging circuit)... less heat. |

QUOTE(coolstore @ Jun 15 2012, 06:25 PM) Looking at home sharing scenario (multi-users): with E355, user no need buy home 3G router to share any more (from TP-Link, Aztech those bulky router). In fact 3G with quota limitation hardly seen lots of ppl share a line, huawei should have seen this clearly. so 5 sharing enough. Go out take E355 as modem with laptop, come back to house just plug to socket then got 3g wifi router function. All those 4 senario fit me. All those I use mifi currently... Looking at home sharing scenario (one user multi device sharing): nowadays more ppl having more than one online capable devices (computer, tablet, smartphone, psp). This will make E355 great use to this kind personal multi device sharing, not to share with other ppl. Just like the picture dictate, plug in the laptop as modem, laptop can surf at full speed, others portable devices can surf sharing via wifi, all without fear of sudden no power by MiFi or need to get extra home 3G router. Looking at travelling-on-car scenario, user with MiFi would fear of when battery could run out (particularly more ppl sharing MiFi more power demanding). With E355 plug to car power source just mere 5V 1A, sharing users no worry of sudden line disconnection (especially if downloading sth). even long hours travelling also no fear. Looking for on-the-go scenario, huawei should also seen ppl always drop in cafe place to use laptop, so the power source is no problem and always keep 'alive', no battery finished fearing. On the other hand, the market trend that many ppl started having portable battery charger for their quick-run-out-of battery smartphone condition also favour E355 that user simply use even highest 4800mAh/5200mAh to pair with E355 that MiFi not capable to last. |

QUOTE(coolstore @ Jul 4 2012, 09:01 PM) updates 3: You need to know exactly how to calculate the internal battery capacity and the output, then you will get the right power rating.======= will be doing bulk for battery power bank at nearly cost price just for my bulk buyers here. at the mean time i don't think yoobao that 10400MHz model 642 nice option bcoz the size too bulky like a brick and also got some feedback that yoobao overating the power capacity (ie not that high in fact). will be listing out the option soon let bulk purchasers choose, for your E355 and even for your own smartphone and tablet! yoobao 6600mAh I have only good for 2x 1700mAh HP batt. This from Mipow: According to the manufacturer, the MiPow Power Tube 4000 indeed produce 80-90% energy for a 2500mAh capacity battery. The technical calculation are based on <the power tube capacity> x <battery voltage> / <output voltage> = <available capacity> i.e. 4000mAh x 3.5V / 5V = 2800mAh From the actual available battery capacity of the power tube, the manufacturer based it on the battery charging leakage percentage (loss of 20% efficiency) while charging the device... i.e. 2800mAh x 80% = 2240mAh So the end product, the power tube of 4000mAh will only produce 80-90% battery power for 2500mAh battery (depending on the charging nature - powered ON or OFF) |

QUOTE(digilife @ Jul 8 2012, 05:43 AM) Who say don't have... at our 'District' FB group. we comparing speed... When back to my kampung, 1 E355 is not enough to handle all the users. 4 notebook + 1 smartphone, for 1 E355 only. Sometime have to use up to 3 modems at 1 time, that's why I bought 2 units E355. This is normal day. If Raya time soon, will be more user. I really have a big family. (I bring back kampung, Huawei E355, E367, ZTE M190, Mifi M60)... |
