If you are the robber, you are kicking from the outside. The inertia and momentum isn't enough to break it. If you have to do it so many times, the noise you cause will itself deter the robber from continuing.

Expensive yes but should be worth it for landed property which I hope to renovate next year after getting the keys. Just for my entrance door, it should cost more than RM3.5k. As for sliding door, the downside is you can add this on the sliding panel, but the fixed panel is still glass. Not too sure if they can do a fixed panel for that either. But imagine a typical 3 panel sliding which is 6ft by 7ft high. That's 42sqft, about RM4k + ... sigh, good things no cheap, cheap things no good.

If like that, you put laser beam that cuts thru flesh security also cannot help lah    But on a more practical note, grills, security laminated glass, alarm are mainly to protect someone inside or to protect the home when no one is inside. It's never fool proof. Every little thing we can do helps I guess. On my left hand, I want to be safe. On my right hand, I don't want my home to be like jail. Have to strike a balance.

Yes u r right. Depends on how strict d security. My area quite few houses decides to get a security n I think they a Nepalese. Very good. There was once my outside auto gate was open which we forgot. He was standing there awhile and then start calling us. So far along my road no incidence yet but there are people who don't want to cooperate and want free security. Damn stingy people. They said no money but they can stay in double storey hse, have nice cars and can do renovation.
