Hi everyone. I am in the midst of deciding whether to use this secure screen instead of grills. It serve 2 purposes that is grill and insects net.

Any advice?

Just drop by the showroom....yes it is expensive...check with my contractor and seems this secure screen is 3x more expensive if you do a grill with mosquito's netting... however, you are paying for security...saw some demo video there and was shown physically you can barely put your finger in even a small cut of 5inches on the screen...

the look is better than grill la coz its almost invisible....

yes, if you are staying on a high rise. nay if on a landed. these grills are no match for burglars' big pliers.

i thought so on the pliers but there is no way you can put in the plier as its hard and strong. You need an electric cutter. High rise no need this screen la....landed at ground floor and balcony will be good.

Am thinking of going "invisible".
It is invisible if a person is not within 15feet, i presume?
China taobao had some selling with good feedbacks. rmb135 for 1mtr sq.

I was like around 5 feet away and look outside through the sample door and i am impressed. Seriously to put at my highest floor windows and have a view rather than obstructed by grill...

I'm thinking, burglars will use pad lock/bolt cutter to cut the wire mesh.. what do  u think..

Is not impossible but a whole lot if trouble and time. Why would a burglar wants to waste so much time unless he really knows what's inside that is so valuable.

if the mesh is as strong as it looks..

1 kick to the door the hinge/lock will still break...

In one of the video demo they use a big log and simulate a tornada force catapulted the log towards the screen n dog n no breakage. Well of course do you believe that video smile.gif

If like that, you put laser beam that cuts thru flesh security also cannot help lah  tongue.gif  But on a more practical note, grills, security laminated glass, alarm are mainly to protect someone inside or to protect the home when no one is inside. It's never fool proof. Every little thing we can do helps I guess. On my left hand, I want to be safe. On my right hand, I don't want my home to be like jail. Have to strike a balance.

there is an answer to that ...guarded community

At least it is better than sendiri jaga sendiri. My side have 4 area separate. Which 2 area include my side have a strict security guard. Breakin and crime is zero few year till now. While another 2 area have a serious breakin. People just don't want coporate.

Yes u r right. Depends on how strict d security. My area quite few houses decides to get a security n I think they a Nepalese. Very good. There was once my outside auto gate was open which we forgot. He was standing there awhile and then start calling us. So far along my road no incidence yet but there are people who don't want to cooperate and want free security. Damn stingy people. They said no money but they can stay in double storey hse, have nice cars and can do renovation.
