1) U mean can connect to other networks? no need maxis internal ip?

2) Can u setup 2 line simultaneously? DECT phone and Android??
*
1) just need data line via wifi/3g/edge/hsdpa, can call to any network as same as u are calling from maxis voip ftth
2) sure can, u can setup unlimited client software based (like sipdroid) or hardware based (like dlink phone, motorola phone)

just tested using hello axiata 3g network in cambodia, it working fine. my wife even surprise when see the calling number is our house maxis voip number, not cambodian phone number lol

Does anyone know the VoIP settings for SME/business fiber account
*
I think just change the domain from homesip.maxis.com.my to maxis.com.my
e.g.:
User ID : bve0323035158
Domain : maxis.com.my
Password : xxxxxxxxxxxx
Display Name : 60323035158
Authorization Name : bve0323035158
Proxy : bvgw01.maxis.com.my

source: http://www.maxis.com.my/business/images/ip...ent%20Guide.pdf

btw I started using Maxis bizvoice for Android today, will give feedback after few days. sipdroid and bria volume is too low in my Gnex.

Because its terrible. Am really stunned at how bad it is. If you riun a fan and aircon its cool, but turn it off and I am guessing it may be a fire risk :-(
*
wow! is it too bad?

my thomson on 24/7 with no aircond no fan just a default setup, running smooth without any problem related to router

This guide is for the huawei VDSL modem but how to setup a custom router if my setup is using TM white Alcatel-Lucent BTU? Hope some sifu can shed some lights.
*
almost same method but u will lose voip function unless u replace thomson with router those have phone port. another option is to keep using thomson for voip only

@pisanq
Thanks for the reply. Let say I want to put

A-L BTU -> Custom router (Internet & Wifi) and use back thomson for voip, what do I need to do since I can't access the A-L BTU to change the VLAN and port binding in step 4 from 1st page?

And can I reuse back my TPlink router which was previously configured to Unifi?
*
first i don't have enough time to try this setup yet but i believe it will work

for internet:
u don't need to change anything inside A-L BTU, just connect the BTU to your new router. tag your new router ppoe port as vlan 621 so that u can dial up to maxis ftth. connect your new router wan port to AL-BTU.

for voip:
set a lan port as untagged and connect your thomson wan port to this lan port. let the phone connect to your thomson like default maxis ftth setup

i will requote this post later after i finish doing it for my home. hope it helps

Yup, true. But still need to keep the Thompson for the damn VoIP, that's mean need to power on 3 devices. If access into hg850a, can setup VoIP on it and totally throw away the Thompson, just need to power on 2 devices..
*
i wish we just need to power on 1 device only to connect all cables there, be it fiber optic, phone, computer network cable + have wifi feature too thumbup.gif
