To all Gurus,

My Maxis setup came with the Huawei HG850a and I am trying to get it to work with a TP-LINK WDR4300 ( Factory stock firmware ). From what I can gather from the postings thus far is, logging in to the modem and making the necessary changes are next to impossible.

My question is couldn't I just get a Huawei Echolife HG655a VDSL Modem to replace the Huawei HG850a to get it working?

Any help is definitely appreciated. Thanks in advance guys.
