QUOTE(delitra @ Oct 16 2012, 12:08 PM)
Hi All,

I just purchased Sony Xperia Neo L. I have couple of queries;Android v4.0.4
1-When i lock my screen using the power button,no lights/indication on the screen/phone seems to pop when i receive sms. The screen remains blank . Am i missing something here? Did i lock my screen wrongly? If my phone in silent mode, i won't even know i've received a sms. And i wont know who sent sms unless i unlock my phone..

2-How to change my phone to silent mode with a shortcut? It's either i have to go to settings or press the power button for a few seconds, any other short cut?

3-- How do i change the view of my smses? Any other viewing style?
4- Can i remove the camera option at when i want to unlock my screen?

Thanks a lot

1 - I've no idea

2- Just install Quick Setting --> https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?...com.bwx.bequick

3- I use Go SMS.. better than stock SMS

4- No Idea..

For those who have problem with their internal storage.. I suggest that u use Link2Sd application.. But before that u have to root ur xperia Neo L first.. Then partition ur Sd Card so that ur downloaded application can be linked to ur Sd card.. REMEMBER! backup all files inside ur sdcard to ur pc before partitioned ur sd card.. Please take note that rooting ur neo will void warranty.. Do it at ur own risk...

Steps to Root ur Neo --> http://neolrootingguide.blogspot.in/

Before rooting u need to download all the tools needed
- Flash tool
- DooMLoRD_v1_Xperia-2011-ICS-ROOT-emu-busybox-su
- Neo V kernel (need to fash to this kernel before rooting)
- Neo L kernel (flash back to new kernel after rooting ur device) --> latest kernel = http://www.4shared.com/file/F9srRNrj/MT25i...ERNEL_ONLY.html

Just follow the instruction step by step..

How to partition ur sd card & using Link2sd? --> http://www.xperiablog.net/2011/12/12/link2...y-limits-again/
