I thought this phone is already in the market for quite some time until I stumble upon this thread! sweat.gif sweat.gif I was actually going to lay my cash on the Xperia P when the phone seller recommended this to me instead. Same internal spec and comes with a handy micro SD slot and most important, no need to cut sim. rclxms.gif The camera's 5MP might be 3MP smaller than Xperia P but large MP is useless when the sensor is that small. Eventually, all photos will be resized to 800 x 600 or 1200 x <forgot> anyway.

Short review so far;

I only experience lag once, after I open Facebook. If didn't open FB, the whole phone runs fine. Therefore, I have to install Advanced Task Killer to kill FB everytime I finish browsing FB.

Music (the program itself) will keep on run in the background, and Advanced Task killer cant "Kill" it. Eating up RAM doh.gif

speakers is kinda let down, and its "cracking" sound is even more apparent when you turn on the xLOUD feature... rclxub.gif

camera is flawless, much better than my previous phone although both shares same MP. As mentioned earlier, sensor matters in a camera, not MP;

My last smartphone purchase was Motorola Milestone, which was 2 years ago. Therefore, this phone impressed me much in all aspects except for the speakers part, where the Milestone speakers is capable of producing clearer sound than the Xperia Neo L's.

open email, facebook and browser simultaneously, BAM... hang doh.gif doh.gif
and somehow the browser will also make the phone hangs when visit certain (not ahem) websites. hmm.gif

battery life is quite good though. On 3G from 11am till now still left 18% after playing with the camera, updating apps, browsing and pulling emails every half hour.

and found out some flaws with the design. The speaker position is at the back of the phone, next to the camera. And the back of the phone is flat. If you put it on a table, incoming call sound will be reduced in approx 70%. Put the phone on a book, magazine or newspaper, cant hear any incoming call sound. doh.gif doh.gif

and no lights providing illumination for the four buttons below, hard to see during night time.

verdict: if you're a heavy user, dont buy this phone. Go get a HTC One S, Galaxy S II, etc is even better. This phone is more suitable for those casual users. Those who buy this phone, be prepare to "kill" tasks everytime finish browsing, especially after browsing FB (the app itself). The app itself is a headache. It eats up RAM and makes the whole phone lags and in worst case scenario, hangs.

well, my milestone, which is running on stock hardware spec, doesn't hang when I open email, facebook and browser simultaneously.

I suspect it is the software itself still have some "rough edges". Not very refined.

nope, but despite the low hardware spec, it still can hold pretty well to newer versions after Froyo.

The ICS is a newer software and I expect it to be better refined, but I was wrong. Too overwhelming for the hardware I guess.
