Why is there a need for KLIA2 when KLIA itself is so underutilize. Why not merge LCCT and KLIA into 1 terminal? It really doesn't make any sense to have another airport JUST for low cost carriers (AA).

Other than Kroni projects lar. I'm giving government the benefit of the doubt. Of coz when you look at it from a songlap/wastage point of view then it makes a lot of sense.

Then, government negotiated the issue and came out with a compromise.

Oooh, so this is a political/business play la. Still don't understand why AA cannot just use KLIA lor. Not like KLIA very busy until cannot handle AA flights like that.
KLIA2 no airport tax for AA meh if the main problem is AA dowan to pay the taxes for KLIA? Then what's going to happen to LCCT after KLIA2 is open?
Feel like so much wastage. Although it really really showcase our Malaysian way of doing things. "Build new instead of optimizing."
