Sensation is one thing, efficiency is another. As long as it works, and it puts manual control in the driver's hand, artificial or not is irrelevant.

Both Preve and Inspira uses CVT with paddle shift, so both also useless? Paddle shift on a DCT makes sense, but that doesn't mean it is the one and only worthy application.

You are entitled to your own comment. I have no doubt on that. But after 2 months, u came here again and still stick to ur story of "Preve paddle-shift feels like a toy after I TESTED WITH TEST DRIVE UNIT".. Come on!

If you read carefully, I made that comment specifically after one of the forumer said (not a direct quote, but close) "Wah, feels like playing at arcade lor".. And that's when I comment.. Arcade = game = artificial.. That's all..

Ppl in here, true owners of this very own car didn't butthurt as much as u regarding the Paddle shift.

Plus, not all here are automotive engineer/racing enthusiast to know & compare preve paddle shift feels like what. Unless u go in Ferrari thread & complaint, its more logical isn't it?

U still didn't answer where in Malaysia where ppl bought this car mostly due to its safety features rather than its speed, think can speed up & fully utilize the paddle shift to 'feel' whether it's artificial or not?

Maybe I was hoping more. Or maybe I thought can be more responsive like... Maybe I don't know... Inspira, perhaps? Most people bought this car because of value for money, it's undeniable. But minority of you still worship that 'tap tap' and act it like the best invention ever after the wheel..

If I bought one car with paddle shift, I also will minimally utilize it  because of KL's traffic..

Hmm, now that you mention it does feels like a game controller, I seldom use it anyway, still haven't know how to control it properly to get the best FC.

I don't think there are lots of us who worship it, and we do agree the Inspira one felt better.

I know that you're not a troll and mind u not all of us here worship our paddle shift either. Saw many ppl excited getting this car, just gave them the chance to drive they quickly shift to S / manual mode without thinking trying to paddle shift all the way without thinking about the FC as well as their safety. Don't get so butthurt when u heard some of us here claim with paddle shift we can just "tap tap" our way & overtake other ppl or reach max speed edy. They're just excited with their ride.

Sorry if what I said earlier seems kinda harsh/butthurt but what I'm emphasizing here, not all of us are able to differentiate/appreciate the true feeling of paddle shift. Unlike dares, Junn here, or maybe mat79, duan or anybody else who seems to have a wide knowledge regarding car, I believe u'll find most of us here just bought this car with hope that everything is functioning properly as well as provide them with a little bit more safety compared to others.

Unfortunately test drove the new inspira (the one they reduced the price to boost their selling number). Felt more or less the same at least to me who's not pro.
