Good afternoon all sifu here! I'm silent reader since V9. I'm actually looking for a car to replace my current ride, a Dugung provided by my Company. Last yr, about Aug 2011 I dispose off my Wira after getting my Company Car in June 2011. Just merely 3-4 months already regret my decision to accept the Dugung as my ride. Now consider buying Forte 2.0, Preve CFE or PUG 408 and return that Dugung to my Co. My question is, do I still enjoy NCB b/f from my Wira if I bought new car before end of this yr?

NCD will valid for 1year...coz my mom sold off my old car this year JAN, so i'm getting preve and gonna utilize my NCD

Thanks for reply! Valid to 1 yr only... then, I'm really run out of time to get new ride! Need to decide by end of July. Wanna to book Preve went go test drive in April. But the CVT noise and also lagging in pick up hold me back!! Try to observe more in this forum than will go another round test drive b4 final decision is make. Deep in my heart, I like Preve but my home minister prefer Forte 2.0 or even used Camry (budget not more than 100K).

the noise from CVT will always be there unfortunately. its not a silent ride for sure. cvt noise is the most obvious from Preve...

But would it reduce after some mileage been done? rclxub.gif I remember the test drive unit I drove is less than 1 week car, meter shown less than 1K... my HM comment that the CVT noise is so irritating, therefore didn't get permission to book sweat.gif

Preve more value for money in terms of specs, spare parts, and service.

i did consider forte 2.0, but 2013 new forte  drool.gif , besides current forte now CKD with minor problems. but the 5years warranty and unlimited mileage makes it attractive.

lagging in pick-up, quite subjective, use S-mode, just like duan's wife

if u have bigger budget, and appearance is important in your line of work, then should go for foreign brand.

Yup, do notice new model of Forte will be available in 2013 drool.gif drool.gif
FYI, my younger brother is driving Forte 1.6, so far very satisfied! I think 5 yrs warranty cover a lots unnecessary worries people may have went consider Kia.

Definitely appearance is not so important in my line of work, if so, my Co won't just provide me dugong as Co car vmad.gif vmad.gif Every day driving Dugung for 2 and half hrs cover from my home to work and back home is torturing sweat.gif My left leg become a bit cacat sweat.gif

elantra totally overprice...go for new pug 408t.. thumbup.gif

Yup, consider it b4. Test to sit in the car (no test drive that time) during their road show in Queenbay Mall, Penang. The ceiling at the back is too low for my height... kena kepala went sit inside and hit the side wall went coming out rclxub.gif rclxub.gif

PUG 408T definitely being consider... my also worry got problem like their 308T. some more, is not Cheap!! Almost extra 50K compared to Preve. Still think Preve is value for money thumbup.gif

I guarantee u will regret like hell if u choose dugong over Preve mad.gif ... for me, My current ride Dugung (yr 2011) is much more lousy than my wife pre facelift Persona (yr 2009). Just my 2 cents icon_rolleyes.gif

Old Car - NCD 55% - Period 1st October 2011 to 30th September 2012

Preve to be registered on 10th August 2012

Today, Old Car accident - all NCD becomes ZERO when claimed

When 10th August 2012 comes, do you still have NCD for your New Preve?

Are you scared now?

No one knows what will happen in between  blink.gif
My suggestion:

Old Car - NCD 55% withdraw NOW - Insurance still same Period 1st October 2011 to 30th September 2012

Hold a piece of paper on your hand which is called Endorsement Form which states you have NCD 55% withdrawn and awaiting to be transferred to new car.

Today, Old Car accident - no NCD but still can claim insurance. Upon renewal is full premium price - no discount

When 10th August 2012 comes, you still have 55%NCD for your New Preve?

Are you happy now?

Precaution is always better  thumbup.gif

Hi Rick, do u have any idea how long (max) this Endorsement Form could valid? within 1 year? For my case, I disposed off my old car in somewhere Aug 2011, then maximum until went my NCD b/f from this old car can hold before I can a new car?
